Helping Musicians Protect Their Work and Build Their Careers
I am Stephanie Iken, an attorney who helps musicians and creative professionals understand the business side of their art. My practice focuses on contract drafting and review for artists, bands, and small creative businesses.
Before becoming a lawyer, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, which gave me a strong foundation in entrepreneurship and management. That background shaped how I approach legal work: practical, straightforward, and focused on helping artists make a living doing what they love.
I know that for many musicians, legal paperwork can feel intimidating or out of reach. My goal is to make the process simple and affordable while giving you the tools to protect your music, your brand, and your livelihood. Whether you need a performance agreement reviewed, a partnership contract drafted, or guidance on forming an LLC, I will explain everything clearly so you can make informed decisions.
When I am not practicing law, you will probably find me playing guitar, attending local shows, or connecting with other artists.
